Some of your duties and responsibilities will be but not limited to:

Prospecting for new customers, developing new business, targeting key prospects and retain business.

Present and discuss all the products and services of the company in a way that exudes confidence in the company’s quality, integrity and superior understanding and exceeding of customer needs/expectations.

Listens to customer requirements and presents appropriately to make a sale;

Keeping the Director informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

Develop annual sales strategy in conjunction with management and identify joint marketing opportunities where applicable.

Keeping yourself abreast with new technologies and applying them in succeeding at your role.

Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails and drop ins.

Communicate effectively with management, and the marketing and production teams, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met/exceeded.

Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;

Ensure that all incoming emails and phone enquiries are responded to in a timely and professional manner.

In conjunction with the director/management team, you will be negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;

Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations; (when required)

Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with suppliers

Advises on forthcoming product developments and discusses special promotions;

Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

Creates detailed proposal documents for clients in collaboration with internal/external design and production teams;

Liaises with all concerned teams to ensure deadlines for delivery are met and you are available to stand in whenever called upon.

Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations by liaising with the internal estimating team;
